The AJNA 5th Neon Art Exhibition, which was held in a venue specifically installed for the purpose in the concourse on the first basement in the Shiodome SIO-SITE from May 10 (Saturday) to 24 (Saturday), turned out to be a great success, attracting more than 10,000 visitors. This was the first time a public venue was used and we believe that the success was at least partly due to this fact.

The theme of this time was “Soothing Lights Illuminating the Future” and 25 works were exhibited. The success of the exhibition reinforced our recognition that the general citizens have great interest in neon signs and art, as exemplified by the fact that Nippon Television(NTV) broadcasted the event live from 17:30 on May 21 (Wednesday).
