I came across this traffic light when I happened to be driving in the southern part of Izu. It is not known whether the tree was planted near the traffic light, or the tree was there before the traffic light was erected. Whichever the case, it is an intriguing combination. This is truly an eco traffic light. A combination of a sign and a tree like this may well be received as an environmentally friendly sign.
